Why is myopia an issue?

Lots of us are short sighted – having to wear glasses or contact lenses can be inconvenient, but not a major problem.

What many people don't know is how myopia affects eye health. If you are myopic, you are at risk of developing other eye conditions, such as retinal detachment and glaucoma, and the risk is greater the more short sighted you are.
